Saugerties fire company prepares for annual candy run

Thanks to events like these, “kids who might not ordinarily get very many presents and in some cases no presents can wake up Christmas morning and find toys under the tree.”
Jasper the fox is still roaming Saugerties. There have been several sightings. “He looks very scared,” reported one observer.
A little snow couldn’t deter members of the Saugerties Girl Scouts’ nine troops from serenading local seniors and shoppers.
The segment featuring the Sussin Family of Patch Rd., Saugerties, will air Monday, Dec. 11 at 9 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 3, Saugerties held its annual Holiday in the Village celebration.
The tree will be the centerpiece for the Holiday in the Village celebration on Sunday, Dec. 3.
The Sussin Family of 123 Patch Road in Saugerties once again invites the public to view its annual Christmas light show, which can be seen every night from Nov. 24 to Jan. 1, 5-10 p.m., weather permitting. Catch them on ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight on Monday, Dec. 11.
An indoor yard sale is being held at the Knights of Columbus hall on Saturday Dec. 2 for Leah Storms, a two-year-old Saugerties girl who was born with end-stage renal failure and has recently been hospitalized in Boston Children’s Hospital with intestinal complications.
