The conviction arose from an incident which took place in July of 2018 at the Northeast Center For Special Care in Lake Katrine when the man, who was employed as a janitor, attempted to subject another person to sexual contact when such other person was incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless.

Last year, after his bladder and lymph nodes were removed, lifetime Barclay Heights resident Tony Amato was declared cancer-free. But it came back with a vengeance six months later, encroaching upon the 48-year-old’s liver and lungs. “Tony’s Army” — about 200 of Tony’s of friends, family and neighbors — are selling hot dogs and baked goods to patrons outside of Kylie’s Sweet Shop during the annual Sawyer Motors Car Show on Sunday, July 7 from 1-6 p.m. to raise funds for his ramping medical expenses.
