Assemblymember Frank Skartados passes away
NYS Assemblyman Frank K. Skartados, 62 of Milton, died on Sunday, April 15 from pancreatic cancer at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. He is survived by his daughter Alyssa and brothers Russos and George.

It’s meant to cut back on waste. Reportedly, enough plastic straws are thrown out each year to fill Yankee Stadium nine times over. The village and town boards passed the resolution after the issue was raised by local high school students.
