A petition presented to the New Paltz Village Board seeks “a reasonable fine” in lieu of arrests for these “minor, non-violent, victimless offenses.”
New Paltz residents who prefer their garbage picked up at home will be required to do business with County Waste as of June 1, or just bring their trash to the recycling center on Clearwater Road.
The Gardiner Cupcake Festival will be held this Saturday, May 19 from noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine, at Wright’s Farm in Gardiner. The festival offers something for everyone in the family, from adults to children.
