St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Shamrock Run returns to Kingston

Sunday, March 10: The City of Kingston is gearing up for its 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, preceded by its 31st annual Shamrock Run. Both follow essentially the same two-mile Broadway course, which is mostly flat but ends with a long downhill approaching the Rondout riverfront. The run is believed to be the largest between New York City and Albany.

The 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for March 10 at 1 p.m. The parade, co-sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians Fr. Con Colbert Woulfe Division 1 and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 5 of Ulster County, will be preceded by the two-mile Shamrock Run starting at Kingston’s Academy Green at 12:50 p.m.
