State Police arrested a 27-year-old Hudson Valley man on the felony charge of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child. The search also turned up illegally possessed firearms by two other persons at the same address.
A meeting between father and son at the Plaza Diner in New Paltz this morning turned into a long-distance murder-suicide.
The victim reported to detectives that when she informed the accused that she was pregnant, the two began to argue. During their argument, the victim reports that the accused pulled her around by her hair and then struck her in the face, causing injury, bruising and swelling to her eye.
During their argument, a 35-year-old Saugerties man reportedly stated that he was “going to gut ” the complainants, and then brandished a knife to the two men he was arguing with.
The charges stem from a two-vehicle collision on Henry W. DuBois Drive, which occurred on March 29.
A Saugerties man pleaded guilty to the felony of vehicular assault and the misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated in Ulster County Court last week.
