Last year, Kingston was the backdrop for two films, a TV show and a commercial. Just four months into 2017, four movies have shot on city streets.

But he’s at it again, tweaking a macabre comedy about consumerist suburbanites with something to hide. The playwright will attend opening night.

Friday, April 21: To celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the comedy classic, a brand-new sing-along version of the film will be shown.
In Northern Europe, its analogue would be a selkie legend, but in this case the shapeshifting woman (or perhaps goddess) is a sea turtle, rather than a seal.
