The Brewery at the CIA named New York State Brewery of the Year

Cheers to the Brewery at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), an educational microbrewery on campus that was recently honored as the New York State Brewery of the Year for 2019. In addition, two student-produced beers earned Gold Medals competing against professional breweries in their respective categories at the New York State Craft Beer Competition.

Thursday night, April 4, Chogyi will begin his evening with an acoustic set at Colony Woodstock, 22 Rock City Road, featuring Daniel Littleton and local phenom singer Olivia Gabriel, before leading his own full band in a set.

The author of I Am Yours, just out from Amberjack Publishing, Zaman will be the keynote speaker at the 10th annual Woodstock Bookfest on Saturday, March 30, at 8 p.m. at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts. Zaman will be interviewed by former NPR war correspondent Jacki Lyden, herself the author of a memoir, Daughter of the Queen of Sheba (Penguin, 1998).
