Lloyd (played by Giancarlo Esposito) is an unexpectedly wise derelict whose home is a New York City subway car. Who knew that this guy can sing and dance so ferociously as he does in his big number here, “Crazy”? Once you’ve seen him, it’s tough to imagine better contemporary casting.
