Smorgasburg Upstate will return to the Hutton Brickyards for a second season in 2017, with the extension of the popular Brooklyn-based food and flea market shifting its focus from every Saturday to Saturdays and Sundays once per month between May and October.
“It will serve healthy locally-sourced sandwiches, soups, salads, wraps, ‘bowls’ and the like. As with their other location . . . overall, a business plan similar to Main Course. The New Paltz location will be open later than Poughkeepsie, will have outdoor seating and is likely to serve beer and wine.”
Its Hudson Whiskey line, distributed worldwide by William Grant and Sons, includes the well-established Baby Bourbon, Four Grain Bourbon, Single Malt Whiskey, New York Corn Whiskey, Manhattan Rye Whiskey and Maple Cask Rye Whiskey.
“Antony had a design space down the street, with motorcycles taken apart and beautifully laid out in the front window. I’d joked with him a few times, like, ‘Hey, so, when’re you gonna open up a motorcycle shop?’ He told me about this multi-use space concept, and it went from there.

The Saugerties Farmers Market moves inside for a holiday market on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Senior Center. Santa will be on hand for photo opps and to pass out sweet and healthy treats.
