Sunday, September 2 : MMW drummer Billy Martin has recently assumed directorship of the Creative Music Studios, the avant-garde musical incubator founded in Woodstock long ago by keyboardist/composer/vocalist Karl Berger, vocalist Ingrid Sertso and the late, great saxophonist/composer Ornette Coleman.

September 6: Osborne scored a major success with her 2017 album Songs of Bob Dylan. The record features early Dylan classics as well as often-overlooked gems. She’ll perform these songs at the Mohonk Mountain House.

Will you take Steve Morse of the Dixie Dregs, who has not only been a member DP for several decades but is also one of the greatest living progressive (and country, and fusion, and nylon string, and…) rock guitarists?
Saturday, September 1: It’s as a benefit for the local Hope Rocks organization, dedicated to illuminating the darkness of isolation, depression and addiction by celebrating hope, the arts and community. The lineup includes the Mateo Dougan Band, the godfathers of Catskill rock the Paul Luke Band, Ian Flanigan, the Mead Mountain Resonators, Logan Callahan and Susan Cattaneo.
Friday-Sunday, August 24-26: An overstuffed lineup of cool music, and one that, per usual, taxes any stable definition of “folk music” to its breaking point. You get the idea: All high-end stuff in an extraordinary setting with the high-fiber community values that have always distinguished the Hoots from your standard-issue folk bacchanalia.

Saturday, August 25: Maverick Concerts’ music director Alexander Platt has enlisted players from the Caroga Arts Ensemble; singers from the Phoenicia Festival of the Voice; and members of Actors & Writers to read the poems.
