Wednesday, May 30: Saugerties will mark the occasion with a traditional Memorial Day service at the American Legion Post, and on the same day, the Stallions baseball team will recognize local veterans at the beginning of the game.
Kingston Memorial Day parade and ceremony set for Monday
Monday, May 28 will be Kingston’s traditional Memorial Day ceremony, set for 1 p.m. in front of City Hall. At 1:45 p.m., the parade will step off from Andrew St. and will proceed along Broadway towards Uptown Kingston.

Cupcakes take the cake in Gardiner
Treats incorporating bacon were back in force this year, along with a number of salty offerings, such as Cupcake Couture’s Chocolate Potato Chip and Salted Popcorn. Trending in 2018 as the hot cupcake ingredient: Nutella, combinations of which were to be found at several vendor booths. Can Marmite and Vegemite cupcakes be far behind?
