Wurts Street Bridge to close until February
The Wurts Street Bridge, which connects the City of Kingston to Port Ewen and beyond, is expected to be closed to traffic beginning Monday, December 17 through February 1, 2019, while crews perform maintenance operations, the state Department of Transportation announced this week.

Free Solo at Rosendale Theatre
Friday-Thursday, Dec. 14-20: Check out this award-winning documentary film about Alex Honnold’s astonishing solo climb of Yosemite’s 3,000-foot-high El Capitán Freerider wall. With no ropes or safety gear, Honnold (who has also climbed at the Mohonk Preserve) completed one of the greatest feats in rock climbing history in just under four hours.
