On Wednesday, Feb. 26, Christian churches all over the world will be celebrating Ash Wednesday. This day marks the beginning of Lent, the 40-day season immediately before Easter. The Lenten season is a time for self-examination and study in the Christian tradition, when followers of Jesus Christ are called to reflect on their way of life and prepare to be resurrected with Christ at Easter.
The State Police from the Livingston barracks are investigating a roll over school bus accident that occurred at approximately 7:45
On February 21, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Michael J. Innello, 26, of Poughkeepsie, for two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony. According to police, an investigation found Innello filmed himself sexually abusing an unconscious victim who was helpless and incapable of consent.
The trail has been open for a while and if you’re a rail trail regular, you’ve probably walked it. The new agreement makes what was a temporary agreement permanent.
