People persons open tiny food shop in Saugerties village

A few weeks after the addition collapsed and the village demanded the owner clean it up, we learned Clovelea (aka The Dragon Inn) is once again for sale.

Three Saugerties youngsters were honored by the Saugerties town board at its March 15 meeting as part of the You’ve Been Caught program run by the Saugerties Community Youth Awards Committee.
The three routes are called Manorville Loop, the Reservoir Loop, and the West Saugerties Road Loop. Each has stops along the way so bicyclists can enjoy the views and rest a bit. “These are all nice easy rides.”

The village building inspector said the property owner needs to clean up the mess, and if he doesn’t, the matter will go to court.
The village DPW superintendent said the move could save money.
Both the town and village of Saugerties officials have signed off on approvals giving water and sewer service to the Holiday Inn Express that will be built off Route 32 near Winston Farm, but village officials believe that eventually the town will have to construct a small sewage treatment plant near the hotel.
For the second year, Saugerties High School art students’ work is on display at Woodstock Artists Association and Museum, 29 Tinker Street.
