With the amount to tax dollars poured into this place, there should be free access to all Ulster County residents. Not just 2 months out of the year. Not to mention the influence in local governments that this particular not for profit is enjoying. The Town of New Patz and Gardiner should rename themselves the Town of Mohonk. Seriously, the political clout this organization has is unfair and unethicalreThere is a revolving door between Mohonk, OSI, Land Trust Alliance and NYSDEC, NYSPRHP. There is no accountability. ZERO!!!

There are some beautiful views off to the west on the trails that head in from Mt Rest Road entrance. Not sure if the demi giant hemlocks there are still healthy , hope so. may try the job fair too, it is soon.
