Today was the first day of school for students in the Saugerties Central School District. Following tradition, the high school seniors gathered at Simmons Plaza for photos, summer reminiscence and renewal of friendships before heading off to school. At elementary schools the beginners lined up to meet their teachers as they started their school careers. (All photos by David Gordon)
