Heirs not only to the Neville polyglot musical tradition, but also to the very Neville name itself, Dumpstaphunk has been providing the jam and festival scene with an uncommonly high grade of funk for a number of years. They’ve fared well in the studio too; 2013’s Dirty Word showed that these cats know how to make a great record as well as a great party; and, in the high tradition of the Neville Brothers, rock stars – Flea, Ani DiFranco – line up to play with them.
