The Saugerties Junior and Senior High Drama Club will present CSI: Wonderland on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17 at Saugerties High School. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. with a 7 p.m. showtime. Tickets, available at the door, cost $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and are free for kids under age five.

The plot of CSI: Wonderland is a blend of the police-procedural television series CSI and Victorian children’s book Alice in Wonderland. When the detectives from “Crime Scene Imagination” arrive to arrest Alice, she realizes she will be returning to “Wonderland,” a place she had tried to forget, and one she wishes was just a bad dream. Once Alice jumps back down that rabbit hole, she gets caught up in a wild and ridiculous murder mystery. Someone has removed the king’s head, and the queen is furious. Alice and the Mad Batter must find the culprit or suffer the queen’s wrath.
