The spirit of Mardi Gras prevails when the Soul Brass Band, led by New Orleans percussionist Derrick Freeman, visits Club Helsinki in Hudson on Sunday, February 11 at 6 p.m. The Soul Brass Band plays a jazzy, horn-powered blend of funk, soul and hip-hop, steeped in New Orleans brass and second-line tradition.
