Saugerties police arrested Casey L. Fellows, 32, of Rt. 9W, Catskill, on Jan. 25 and charged him with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle.
According to police, Fellows rented a U-Haul van from the Ulster County Self Storage Center located at 1089 Kings Highway in the town of Saugerties on Dec. 22. Fellows contracted with the U-Haul center to use the vehicle for three days. Fellows failed to return the vehicle at the appointed time. On Jan. 24, U-Haul representatives reported the van stolen to the Saugerties Police Department. Officers conducting the investigation located the U-Haul van parked behind a residence off Second St. in the village of Saugerties and eventually located Fellows.
