The Village of New Paltz’s annual holiday tree bonfire took place earlier today at Hasbrouck Park, the day after Christians of some traditions celebrate Epiphany, or “Little Christmas.”
Trees were collected by village employees from the curb last week, and residents dropped off trees at the DPW garage. Some residents brought trees directly to the bonfire, where fireman heaved them into the blaze.
