A public informational meeting on a proposed medical marijuana operation scheduled for Monday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center has been canceled.
No word yet on whether the company, CanniCare LLC, will reschedule.
Hundreds of entities are seeking just five state licenses, which will be awarded by lottery. The application carries a $10,000 non-refundable application cost, according to the New York Post, and the deadline is May 29.
