The Brooklyn vibe: New Uptown enterprises all linked to NYC’s most hip borough

Snout-to-tail butchery practices, locally sourced foods, farm-market purchases and charcuterie platters are some of the principles behind a menu filled with the likes of grass-fed burgers, house-made sausages, smoked chicken livers on a crostini, pigs in a blanket, and cornmeal pancakes filled with smoked pork cheek and horseradish sauce. Craft beers and cocktails with seasonal ingredients will join a dozen microbrew tap lines from Keegan Ales.

Lewandowski referred to North Front Street as “the gateway to Uptown Kingston.” He hopes that North Front Street is becoming the center for local revitalization.

The vibe? “Upbeat, always,” said Lewandowski. “There’s a lot of things going on here: music, art galleries. It’s way better than the Hamptons.”
