Gumby and his faithful steed in Neumann’s Livingston St. studio
Every month, village businesses stay open late and offer special activities and discounts. The theme for February’s First Friday on Feb. 7 is “Valentine’s Day.” The event runs from 6-9 p.m. at participating businesses. For more information, visit Saugerties First Friday on www.Facebook.com.
Artist Ze’ev Willie Neumann’s Gumby and Pokey will be featured in parade around the village beginning at 6:30 p.m. The sculptures were created following the theft of a previous Gumby from a West Saugerties property last October, which was featured on an episode of The Colbert Report on Feb. 4.
