As has been the case in the first years of the Showcase, real estate is at a premium. “As it has grown, I’m out of space. I was out of space last year,” says Rorick. But he’s not considering a move. “Next year I may do the same thing again. I don’t want to move it. I have a waiting list for 2012 that’s twice as long as I can accommodate. There’s so much community support here in Woodstock. After three years, it’s established, has a reputation, has legs for the future. It’s successfully tied in with the town, its musical and cultural history, Byrdcliffe and Maverick concerts. This is the first year I’ll have a 35-36 page glossy program, t-shirts, all the stuff that hasn’t come together over the years.” ++
