Gallo said he has still not decided whether he will run on the Working Families and Independence Party lines in November in the event he loses the Democratic Primary. That would set up a crowded race with Gallo and Clement running, and dividing the Democratic field, and the eventual winner of the Republican primary competing with Conservative Party candidate Richard Cahill Jr. for GOP votes. (Steve Ladin is also running for mayor on his own Red Dog Party line.)
“I have to see the results before I answer that,” said Gallo. “I have to think about things and talk with my volunteers and the Working Families Party.”
